Guarantees
As part of my service I offer immediate refunds on any book not meeting my description with the exception of books where the edition varies from that shown and this is explained in the description.
Quality of Goods/Fitness for Purpose
I endeavour to describe my books as accurately as possible but, as always, beauty is in the eye of the beholder! If you feel that any of my books are mis-described then you may have an instant refund without question. Where I indicate a book to be 1st Edition with a ? this means that I believe it may not be a true 1st and it is sold on that basis.
Cancellations
You have the right to cancel your order at any time up to the point of despatch, for whatever reason. If you wish to cancel your order after despatch (in some cases your order can be packed and posted with a couple of hours) and after receipt of our despatch note then it will be handled as a return.
Returns Procedures
You need to inform me of the return with 3 days of receipt of the book by email or telephone. In most cases my refund will include the costs of returning the book to me although I reserve the right to exclude those costs and also the right to issue a refund without requesting the book be returned.
Delivery Times
I use Royal Mail only, transit aims are:
- UK: 1-3 Days, 5-7 days
- Europe: 3-5 Days, 13 Weeks
- USA: 5-7 Days, 13 Weeks
- ROW: 7-10 Days, 13 Weeks
Items outside of the UK are sent Airmail or Surface, times as above.
Delivery Methods & Charges
All delivery charges are based on the weight of the order and the destination - this is clearly shown before you place your order. Orders requiring faster fulfilment can be dealt with on request but please understand that next-day delivery is not, generally, possible as I am not at the warehouse each day to collect orders.
Insurance
If you require your books to be insured in transit then please notify me by e-mail. I'll provide you with a complete quote to include insurance - please note that Royal Mail Surface cannot be insured world wide.
Responsibility for Local Taxes and Duties
Books are, just, still VAT-exempt. Responsibility for payment of any local taxes or duties resides with you, the customer.
Data Protection
I do not keep any details other than standard accounting material. I will never supply your details to a 3rd party company without your permission.

Security of Credit Card Payment Options
I use 128Bit Encryption on my Secure Server and this is my recommended method of payment. If you have any doubts or concerns about using your credit card on the internet then don't! You can simply telephone or fax me with the details. I'm more than happy to confirm your order pending arrival of your payment by cheque or postal order.
Applicable Law / Courts of Jurisdiction
All agreements are non exclusively subject to the courts of the United Kingdom.

This Privacy Policy covers our treatment of personally identifiable information that we collect when you are on our site, and when you use our services. This policy also covers our treatment of any personally identifiable information that third parties share with us. This policy does not apply to the practices of organizations that we do not own or control, or to people that we do not employ or manage.
Information Collection and Use
We collect personally identifiable information when order a book from us. We may also receive personally identifiable information from third parties through whom you have ordered a book. Once you purchase from us you are not anonymous to us. We use this information for the purpose of processing your order including communicating the progress of that order. We also automatically receive and record information on our server logs from your browser including your IP address, cookie information and the page you requested. This information is not linked to your account and will not be used to identify you.
Information Sharing and Disclosure
- I will not sell or rent your personally identifiable information to anyone.
- We will send personally identifiable information about you to other companies or people when:
- We have your consent to share the information
- We respond to subpoenas, court orders or legal process
- We find that your actions on our web sites violate the Terms of Service
Your Ability to Edit and Delete Your Account Information and Preferences
We do not give you the ability to edit your account information and preferences at any time, including whether you want us to contact you about new services. You may request deletion of your account by using our contact form.
Security
Your Account Information is password-protected for your privacy and security. * In certain areas we use industry-standard SSL-encryption to protect data transmissions. Please also note that we do not store payment details on an on-line server.
The last 4 digits of your card are kept on file in the event that we need to establish the method of payment for your order. Expiry date, start date, ccv are not stored and you may not register a card with us for future orders.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
The privacy policy is subject to modification from time to time. If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes here so that you will always know what information we gather, how we might use that information and whether we will disclose it to anyone. Any significant changes to our privacy policy will be announced on our home page. If you do not agree with the changes in our policy you have the ability to remove your account information.
