Condition: Poor. Disbound, with the boards detached from the heavily damaged spine which is itself detached from the text block. Heavy knock to the head of the upper board. First blank and half-title page near detached. Edges of the text block lightly tanned. Previous owner has pasted on a resume of the book prior to the introduction. Text complete, clean and tight but a little age-tanned with some of the folding plates now a little worn at the joins. Not common.

French language text. Naval Art in the Universal Exhibition in Paris in 1867 plus the latest improvements and maritime inventions until 1869. Illustrated by way of: Fold-out plans [16]; Appears to be an companion volume to another set (?) as the chapter lists refers to chapters with page numbers over 1200.
