4th Edition. Illustrated with line drawings. From the author’s introduction: “I have written the present volume with the hope that it may prove a useful and more or less complete handbook to students preparing for the examinations in medical gymnastics and massage — and especially those held by the Chartered Society of Massage and Medical Gymnastics. Special consideration has been given to the structures and organs directly concerned in this form of treatment, while organs relatively unimportant, from the medical gymnast's point of view, are either omitted, or only superficially dealt with. It must therefore be clearly understood that this volume is essentially intended for the above class of students, and is insufficient as ‘a guide to anatomy’ in the complete sense.”
